In addition, sanitary napkins can also be selected based on the menstrual flow.
Generally speaking, the excessive amount of menstruation blood includes too much blood(the normal amount does not exceed 100 milliliters) and too long period time(longer than seven days). Too much menstruation blood is caused by irregular peeling endometrium, endometrial hyperplasia, functional uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, bleeding disorders, liver dysfunction and other diseases, or it is affected by external factors including menstrual hygiene, cold, heat and mental overstress. In the case of excessive menstrual flow, there are special sanitary napkins used for the daytime and extended sanitary napkins used for nighttime, for example, overnight and thicken sanitary napkins with a size of 400mm made by Whisper. Or you can change the sanitary napkin more often.

On the last two days, when the menstrual flow is small, you can choose ultra thin sanitary napkins or panty liners instead of thicken sanitary napkins on the market. Amenorrhea means that a female above 18 years old has never had her period or a female used to have period, but she doesn't have period for more than 3 months. Amenorrhea is caused by systemic chronic diseases such as severe anemia, liver diseases, diabetes, schistosomiasis, hookworm disease, malnutrition, endocrine disorders, partial uterine hypoplasia, genital tuberculosis, etc. In addition, injured brain and excessive fatigue can also cause amenorrhea. However, amenorrhea during pregnancy and lactation is a normal physiological phenomenon.

Matters needing attention
Being insanitary
When a female is having a period, she has very poor immunity. If she doesn't pay attention to caring for her body, discomfort will occur. In the early years, according to an expert's statistics, 38% of people who used unqualified sanitary napkins would suffer from serious gynecological diseases. 73% of women felt partial skin itching, burning and painful during menstruation. About 80% of women suffered from high fever, headache and abdominal pain.

The reason is that female pelvic cavity, uterus and cervix are all connected to the environment. Such a structure makes a female's reproductive system easily attacked by outside pathogens. When a girl is having a period, the immunity of her genital organ is poorer than that of other days. If unqualified sanitary napkins are used, infections are likely to occur.

Menstrual blood is rich in nutrients. Therefore, menstrual blood has become a "medium" for the breeding of bacteria. One experiment showed that after 2 hours of continuous use of ordinary sanitary napkins, the total number of surface bacteria was up to 107 per square centimeter.

Changing the sanitary napkin and cleaning the vagina often
Good sanitary napkins should be bacteria free and have good absorption and air permeability. Otherwise, they may create a closed and non-dry environment for vaginas and cause breeding bacteria to enter the human body. If the sanitary napkin has bad quality, the risk of inflammation may be greatly increased due to impurities in the material of the sanitary napkin and poor absorption.

Women had better change sanitary napkins often. When the menstrual blood is much, it's best to change the sanitary napkin every 2 to 3 hours. When the menstrual blood is little, don't change the sanitary napkin over 4 to 5 hours. Wash your vagina every day even if you are having a period. Before changing the sanitary napkin, be sure to wash your hands so as to prevent spreading germs from your hands onto the sanitary napkin.
