1. Store a large number of sanitary napkins
Same as the food, sanitary napkins have shelf life. Using disposable high-temperature sterilization method to be sterile is useful, but once out of date, germs will grow on sanitary napkins. Therefore, don't buy too much at one time and store them for a long time.

2. Store sanitary napkins in the bathroom
Some women will put sanitary napkins in the bathroom locker for convenience. However, compared with other rooms, bathroom is the most humid place, where bacteria can thrive in the moisture. After unpacking the sanitary napkin, you should put it on a dry and clean place.

3. Often use sanitary pads
Because of leucorrhea, some women like to use sanitary pads even not in the period time. In fact, female vulva needs a breathable, dry, clean environment to stay healthy. Regardless of how high breathability and comfort of the sanitary pad is, there still has a layer of plastic film at the bottom. So, a long-term use will increase the humidity and temperature of vulva, providing the growth condition to bacteria. Or even worse, it can destroy the vaginal pH and is likely to cause vaginitis.

4. Do not wash hands before changing sanitary napkins
Wash hands before meals. Similarly, it is a good habit to wash hands before changing sanitary napkins. During the process of opening, smoothing and pasting, the bacteria will be brought to the sanitary napkin from hands. When in menstrual period, women have low resistance, and a little carelessness will increase the chances of suffering from gynecological diseases.
