Sanitary Napkin

A sanitary napkin, also can be called as sanitary towel, sanitary pad, menstrual pad, or pad, which is an absorbent item worn by a woman while she is menstruating, while she is recovering from vaginal surgery, after an abortion, or in any other circumstances where it is necessary to absorb a flow of blood from the vagina.

Some sanitary napkins are disposable and are meant for single use only. Most sanitary napkins available in the market are disposable ones. Reusable sanitary napkins are mostly cloth pads that can be washed, dried and reused over a number of times.

Sanitary napkins come in different shapes and sizes, with different capacity to absorb for days of heavy and light menstrual bleeding.
